Our Story:

Ann Hoppe, a Maine Souvenir and Maine Gift Shop owner, has managed this local favorite for over fifteen years, she enjoys serving the great tourists, visitors, and all her loyal locals.

30 Years ago my mom & dad opened Puffin’s Nest in Port Clyde, Maine. It was a small, seasonal shop on my father’s dock. Dad is a lobsterman and named the store after the Atlantic Seabird he would see when he was out hauling his lobster traps.

My mother enjoyed the Maine gift and souvenir retail business so much she dreaming of opening a store open year round. Finally, she was able to open Puffin’s Nest in Damariscotta, Maine, open year round offering the best Maine gifts and Maine souvenirs.

After I graduated college, my family and I were able to open up our second store in beautiful downtown Rockland, Maine, I became the manager & buyer. We have since expanded to offer local favorites.
