We offer a wide variety of tastes and dishes that reflect both the season and region. Around here, its Damariscotta River oysters that people seek, here at the Newcastle Publick House we work with numerous oyster farms to provide our customers with the absolute best that the river has to offer. Raw on the half shell or Jumbo baked as our signature Angry Al’s, these oysters should not be missed. Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten-free need not worry we have thoughtfully prepared items for everyone (see our Menu page for more info).
The Newcastle Publick House has been certified as an environmental Leader, offering best practices for a healthier and sustainable environment. With seasonal outdoor seating, we are open year round and are family friendly. Live music is offered in the Oysterhead Lounge several nights each week. Our draft selection represents the very best that independent brewers have to offer.
