Frantz Furniture was opened in 2005 by Paul and Emily Frantz. Previous to that, Paul and Emily had retired and moved to the Mid-Coast area to be closer to their two daughters, seven grandchildren, and to the ocean. After arriving in the Mid-Coast, they saw a need for a furniture store that reflected the area's landscape, thus creating Frantz Furniture.

In 2017, Deana Frantz Hersey, their youngest daughter and her husband, Garth purchased the store so Paul and Emily could retire. Although retired, Paul and Emily still stop by to enjoy visiting with our customers!

We are proud to have helped our local community non-profit organizations with our support since our first year, making our community a more comfortable place to live. Giving back to the community is essential to the Frantz Furniture Family.
